My Wonderful Children and Grandchildren :)

After watching General Conference today, I made a decision to start a blog about gratitude and appreciation for all the things I have experienced in my life.

One of the General Authorities quoted something from his mother when he was young and I was extremely touched by the quote. It was something he said his mother said to him when he was a little boy and came home from a football game his team had lost. . . The quote: "Come what may and love it." It touched my heart and soul in a manner I have not experienced before.

I decided at that moment rather than trying to make everything "FAIR" and being disgruntled when things do not turn out fairly, the above quote would become my new "motto" and I would try to make every experience from now on something that helps me grow and become a better person. At least that is my opinion and take on the quote.

I am moving tomorrow back to the area my ex-husband and I raised our seven children. It is a much smaller place than I have lived in -- EVER -- but I am feeling I will love it and have many wonderful experiences if I constantly remember "COME WHAT MAY AND LOVE IT. . ."
